Everyone who as ever officiated a game has gotten to experience the positive benefits it can have. Whether just allowing you to stay around a sport you love or teaching you skills you transfer to your everyday life there are several benefits to being an official. With the shortage of sports officials nationwide it is now as important as ever to tap previously unexplored resources, share these benefits and find the next generation of officials.
RETENTION
Retention has long been a problem for officials. Our goal is to create a system that is easy to work within that promotes this retention by reducing administrative hurdles while creating a system that promotes cooperation and mentorship among young officials.
EDUCATION
As is important in any profession, education is the key to being successful. In officiating, education goes far beyond knowing the rules. Our goal is to provide training, education, and resources on rules, game management, and the people management that is necessary to be a highly successful official.
ADVANCEMENT
In officiating advancement can look a lot of different ways. Whether moving from sub-varsity to varsity, high school to college or from or taking on your first role as a crew chief, our goal is to provide everything you need to make the advancements you want to make.
CONSISTENCY
Lack of consistency is one thing that drives every coach crazy. Our goal is two-fold in regards to consistency, One is to create consistency for the game through training and education so that coaches are not surprised when crossing into new districts or states. The other is to provide consistency to the officials. Create a single source point of registration that will allow you to work almost anywhere in the country without having to comply with differing processes and regulations.
